    Abstract:

    Objective To analyze the experience and elements of patients with convalescent schizophrenia who received supportive interventions. Methods Combining phenomenological method with individual interviews and observation methods, the research was conducted among 10 convalescent patients with schizophrenia who received supportive intervention in Chifeng City. Colaizzi analysis was adopted to analyze the rehabilitation experience and its elements of patients. Results The analysis proposed three functional elements: clinical outcomes( the awareness of symptoms and medication compliance), psychosocial outcomes( family problems, personality traits and self-efficacy) and awareness of recurrence prevention. Conclusions The implementation of supportive intervention during the recovery period of schizophrenia is helpful to improve the rehabilitation experience of patients.
