Balint group is an intervention to improve the relationship between doctors and patients， which can improve the communication ability of medical staff and improve job burnout. This paper introduces the origin and development， research status at home and abroad， action mechanism， and activity process of Balint group， and summarizes the problems existing in the application of Balint group in medical staff and puts forward some suggestions. The prospect of the applications of Balint group in more fields in China is prospected， in order to provide the direction for follow-up research work.
