    Abstract:

At present, functional magnetic resonance imaging studies on non-suicidal self-injury and bipolar depression patients mainly focus on magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and blood oxygen level dependent-functional magnetic resonance imaging (BOLD-fMRI). This paper reviews MRS and BOLD-fMRI in non-suicidal self-injury and bipolar depression patients, to understand the progress of neuroimaging research and explore potential research directions.
